“Is that by any chance the same song we just listened to?” Dina sarcastically asks and my response is, “No way, it just sounds like it!” Ha! There you go world! I listen to songs on repeat and I do it all.the.time! You get the same Starbucks drink all the time and I bet you go for the same flavor of ice cream all the time, and I do the same with music and everything else in life. Because life is about finding that one thing you love and keeping it, because you’re perfectly happy with it! And yes, that applies to people too.
This week I’m strolling the streets of that same city that never sleeps, the skyline of which you see for miles . . . and all because I’ve found my favorite spot on this continent and I like living life on repeat. It’s a perfect match for my imagination of what city should be and part of me will always stay here! Maybe one day I’ll fall in love with the London fog or the Champs-Élysées of Paris, but I’m still keeping NYC close to my heart!
